The early trailer for Otaku Unite!. This was cut together before editing on the documentary began in an effort to whet the appetites of the fans. View the official trailer here.

Above is a three minute clip from the "cos-play" segment of OU!, which always gets a great audience reaction. The song is by a Japanese band called Buli.

Otaku Unite! was subtitled in Japanese by Yukari Shiina, who also operates the official Japanese OU! website.

In 2003 I brought Peelander-Z to their first anime convention. They've been a hit with the anime kids ever since.

Toshio Okada, co-founder of anime powerhouse Studio Gainax and world renowned Otakologist, stopped by our dealer table down in Atlanta to tell us how much he enjoyed the movie.

Myself and Fred Ladd, the man who pioneered the importation of anime to the U.S. in the early 1960s, called OU! the "most accurate and entertaining documentary on anime and anime fans that has ever been made".
